New Ambulance Arrival

On January 2, 2013 Samaritan Ambulance Service took delivery of a new ambulance to add to our fleet. With the arrival of this new unit we plan to accommodate the growing demands for service and expand our current fleet. We hope to have this unit in-service by late January or early February.

Home for the Holidays

Over the Holiday Season we were able to provide opportunities for more than 18 residents at area nursing facilities to make it home to be with family and friends. Each year, Samaritan Ambulance Service is proud to offer a program that we call "Home for the Holidays" to residents at area nursing facilities. This program offers people who can't travel by standard cars or vehicles the ability to make it home to be with family and friends during the Holidays. We look forward to providing this program each year as a way to show our appreciation and dedication to serving the communities in which we call home!

Annual Food Drive

"Fill Our Ambulance" our annual food drive is held each year to donate food items to the Helping Hands Mission. We have partnered with the IGA in Wendell for the past 3 years and invite shoppers to donate non-perishable food items for the Helping Hands Mission. Our 2012 drive was so successful in November that we held a second drive in December. Our goal this year is to offer this drive in other communities and locations. Thank you all for your support and donations; they truly do make a difference in someone's life!
